The design points of flexible and
rigid-flex PCB boards should be in accordance with the provisions of this standard. The overall design drawings, photographic base drawings and production master plates shall include the graphics of the coupons for quality consistency inspection. The coupons for quality consistency inspection shall be designed in accordance with Figure A in Appendix A (Supplement). The attachment board should be located no more than 13mm and no less than 6.4mm from the edge of the board, and should reflect the entire manufacturing process, including the manufacturing process of the cover layer. When designing type 3 and type 4 flexible or rigid-flex printed boards, the coupon pattern for quality consistency inspection should be placed on the most complex rigid or flexible part.
